Superintendent Dr. Doug Wernet spoke about Wonder’s profound impact on the school community, describing him as a beloved colleague known for his enthusiasm.
“His energy, joy, and unwavering positivity made a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him,” Hickory Creek Principal Tricia Dotson said in a district release.

He also played a key role in establishing “Tiger TV,” a student-led media program, and led initiatives to raise awareness for cystic fibrosis.
