The group has launched its membership drive and announced an upcoming fundraiser at the Mokena Oberweis, where 20% of orders will be donated to the Friends for an outreach vehicle.

Temporary Community Pantry:
Director Kowalcze reported on the status of the temporary community pantry. The pantry is currently addressing a pause in SNAP benefits. Trustee Evenhouse later commended the staff for their agility and thoughtfulness in starting the pantry to assist community members in need.
