Meeting Summary and Briefs: Frankfort Square Park District for Nov. 20, 2025
Frankfort Square Park District Meeting | Nov. 20, 2025
The Frankfort Square Park District Board of Commissioners met on Wednesday, November 20, 2025, at the Square Links Golf Course Clubhouse. The board heard extensive reports from community groups and department heads, approved the disposal of surplus equipment, and discussed upcoming personnel changes. Commissioner Frank Florentine was absent.
Wildcats Signage Approved: In response to an inquiry from Commissioner Joseph King, Executive Director Audrey Marcquenski confirmed that the Wildcats Football program has been given the green light to update their signage at Union Creek Park.
Staff Resignations: The board acknowledged the resignation of full-time Building & Grounds staff member Alec Flamm, who accepted a position with a neighboring municipality. Marcquenski noted that Flamm recently earned his arborist certifications. Longtime recreation staff member Deb Molitor also recently resigned.
Tax Levy Hearing: Marcquenski reminded the board that a Truth in Taxation public hearing is scheduled for Monday, December 1, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., preceding the regular board meeting.
Travel Expenses Tabled: The board tabled action on travel, meal, and lodging expense reimbursements for the upcoming IPRA Conference. President Craig Maksymiak noted that since no staff members elected to attend the conference over multiple days, the costs did not meet the threshold requiring board approval.
Financial Report: The board approved the accounts payable listing. As of October 31, 2025, the district’s Corporate Fund balance stood at $1,893,957. The Golf Course fund showed year-to-date receipts of $647,235.58 against expenses of $577,473.09.
