FRANKFORT – Future residents of the Misty Creek townhome development will have more design flexibility following a vote by the Frankfort Village Board on Monday, December 1, 2025.
The Board passed an ordinance approving a “Major Change” to the Misty Creek Planned Unit Development (PUD). The request was filed by Laraway 157C LLC.
“The proposed change would permit townhome units to include both the sunroom and a covered patio, whereas original plans allowed only for one or the other,” explained Trustee Gene Savaria.
The approval allows for the construction of both features on townhome units 7 through 32. Units 1 through 6 and unit 21 are excluded from this specific modification.
The Frankfort Plan Commission reviewed the request at a public hearing on November 13, 2025, and forwarded a unanimous recommendation to the Village Board to approve the request.
