Sorting Room Floor to be Replaced
The board approved a $1,605 proposal from Flooring America to replace the floor in the circulation sorting room. The motion, made by Trustee Meszaros and seconded by Trustee Otway, passed in a roll call vote. Jeff Slovak, liaison for the Friends of the Library, reported that the organization’s September book sale was a great success. He announced that the Friends have already exceeded the total amount raised from all of last year’s book sales. The group will host an art market in November and will also be holding a membership drive.
