Another quantum company announced for incentives
Another quantum computing company is taking advantage of state incentives to establish its headquarters at the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park on Chicago’s Southeast Side.
The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity announced Thursday that Pasqal, a French company, plans to invest more than $65 million and create 50 new full-time jobs.
Juvenile justice interns sought
The Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice has scheduled employment screening events for Juvenile Justice Specialist Intern positions at five locations around the state.
The full-time, year-round jobs have a starting salary of $65,000. More information is available at IDJJ.Illinois.gov/careers.
Financial index suggests looser conditions
The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s National Financial Conditions Index (NFCI) decreased to –0.55 in the week ending Oct. 3.
The decrease in the index suggests looser financial conditions where credit is considered to be easier and cheaper for businesses and consumers.
