Glowforge Basics
Learn how to use the Glowforge software and laser cutting machine to create a simple acrylic keychain. All materials will be provided. This class is designed for patrons who have never used Glowforge.Topics covered in this class will include:Basic features of the Glowforge Software.Adding graphics.Adding and editing text.Resizing, rotating, and aligning design elements.Grouping, ungrouping, and outlining design elements.Cutting a design. Prerequisites: Patrons must know how to operate a mouse and keyboard. Please Note:This class is for FPLD cardholders only.Patrons will have the option to wait for their finished project (wait time may be up to 1 hour after class) or pick up their project from the library at a later date.Laser cutters operate by burning through the material which will produce some odor.
